Our rug cleaning methods
The dry cleaning rug method
Our rug cleaning specialist will assess your rug to determine the type of fabric it is made out of so he can select the appropriate cleaning solution.
All dust, crumbs, hair, and any other unwanted particles will be removed from the rug ahead of the treatment.
A pre-cleaning agent will be applied to any stains visible to the naked eye.
A dry cleaning solution will then be sprayed into the entire rug until it crystallizes.
All solutions will be removed with one of our powerful hoovers to reveal a brand new-looking rug.

The steam cleaning rug method
Our professional rug cleaning specialist will assess your rug so the right detergent can be chosen.
The rug will then be thoroughly hoovered to remove any unwanted particles.
Our technician will then use one of our modern machines which will inject a combination of pressurized hot water and detergent in every square meter of the rug.
The moisture generated by the machine is simultaneously hoovered as the nozzle of the machine runs across the carpet.
Dirt, bacteria, and foul smell are removed in the process leaving a fresh new rug for you to enjoy!
Some of our rug cleaning work in London

Dirty rug
This striped number had seen better days before our visit thanks to being walked on by tons of people. It’s now just a bad memory.

Dull Rug
This rug looked a little dull…until we took care of it. It now looks worthy of being sold on one of portobello’s market stall.

New Rug?
Nope, it’s still the same. The only difference is that we cleaned it. So the dull blue has been replaced with a vibrant blue.

Nasty Rug
It’s incredible how dirty a rug can get. Check out the colour of that water as we were cleaning it.

Frequently asked questions
The cost of a professional rug cleaning service depends on, the size of the rug, the material and how badly soiled the rug is of the rug. Rugs with natural fibers tend to be more expensive to clean. Expect to pay around £38 for an 8 x 10 feet rug.
If you decide to clean your rug yourself here is what we suggest you do.
First, remove dirt and debris from the rug using a vacuum cleaner.
Next, shampoo the rug with either a store-bought cleaner or a mixture of dish soap and warm water.
Apply the cleaner agent to the rug using a sponge or a soft-bristled brush. Use a wet cloth to rinse out the cleaner then blot the rug dry with a towel.
Professional rug cleaning service providers use different kinds of methods to effectively clean rugs. Most professionals use specialized tools, equipment, and cleaning solutions.
Here the process we follow:
- We extract all the dirt from the rug by initially pumping hot water into it so the dirt and grease detached themselves from the fibers.
- We then extract the water and the dirt all together leaving your rug nice and clean.
Your rug will generally be dry after 6 to 10 hours but we recommend you wait up to 24 hours as drying time will vary depending on the time of the year and the level of humidity in your home.
